Material: Clay, Fire clay from Aswan - upper Egyp
Dimensions:
Proximate size: Diameter 37.5cm, Height 6cm
Description:
Fayoum Palm Trees Platter
Featuring a striking depiction of two palm trees, this platter provides a glimpse into the bountiful oasis village of Tunis where it was handcrafted. With an abstract use of color and illustrative painting style, it can either be used for serving food or even as an artful wall piece.
Care Guide:
We recommend hand washing in warm water and drying. Please do not place it in the microwave, directly on top of a burner, or in the oven. Using harsh scrubbing cream or pads to clean can scratch the surface. Fayoum pottery is meant to be used, held, and enjoyed on a daily basis. Proper care and handling of the pieces will help retain their beauty and function for years.
